Our wedding day. To quote Kyle, "almost everything that could go wrong, went wrong... yet, it all worked out okay" and was completely wonderful. Everyone talks about being nervous, but Jason and I remained calm the entire time pretty much. We both knew this was a big moment, but, like Jason said in his vows "this isn't the beginning of my love for you, it is a continuation of it." This apparently isn't a direct quote (according to Jason), but you get the point. I don't think anyone could doubt how amazing of a match we are for one another. My favorite moment during our wedding day was getting to see Jason, after getting dressed up, and having a private moment with just us in the pecan grove. I don't really remember what we talked about, but I remember thinking how lucky we are. It was nice to just sit and not have to plan anything, but just get to be with him.
Our parents, family, and friends all helped with our wedding so much. I don't know what we'd have done without them. Special thanks to Holly... she's master super wedding fixer-uper! The best man and maid of honor were amazing throughout our whole wedding experience. They kept both of us sane and at peace while others were flipping out... you were our breath of fresh air from wedding stress. They both gave lovely, touching speeches at our wedding. Also, Jamie so kindly sang songs for us and recorded our wedding experience. He also send us the Master Sword from Zelda, which we used to cut our cake. Jason was amazing at actually cutting with it and putting on a plate... I would have dropped it in a second. We kept our wedding with the nerd theme: including mario music, zelda wedding cake toppers and sword, and the Mario Kart Love song. I, unfortunately, left our wedding cake topper of charlie brown at our apartment. We used candy pumpkins instead. Again, couldn't of done all of this without our family (amazing parents and siblings) and, of course, Noel and Beau. I am still amazed how many people chipped in and did things for us just out of love. The end.
